I'm in need of a hormone panel and I figured instead of going through my family doctor (who may have issues with steroid usage), an online ordered private blood test would be a better idea. I live in ottawa and the only thing that turned up after days of searching way this website:

http://bloodtestscanada.com/

Apparently they go through LifeLabs (http://www.lifelabs.com/Lifelabs_ON/) to perform your test. However, the prices are expensive compared to what I've seen for people in the states (a complete hormone panel goes for 50$ for example in the states). They separate testosterone from estrodiol, LH, FSH, GH, and others. Each individual test comes up to 50$-70$. So a "full panel" would end up costing 300$+.

Does anyone else know of a cheaper company that performs private blood testing (specifically in ottawa or with branches in ottawa)?

I also found:

http://www.gamma-dynacare.com/Content/HealthcareProviders/ResultsReporting.aspx?expandable=1&subexpandable=0

but it seems that they are merely a lab, and require a physician/clinician referral.

Guess what you live in Canada your shit out of luck. We pay for more for everything here. Dont want to pay, then go to your doc ask for a full hormone panel and dont say you want it because your on gear. If he asks why or refuses tell him you want to know more or indicate the symptoms of low test

I worked at gamma dynacare and there is no way you can have a private blood test. You will need a doctor rec form.
