Hey,
So I been searching the net and there is so much info and its all mixed and matched- peoples different ideas do's and donts. Maybe I can get some clarity here.
I am 26, weighing in at around 148lb with normal fat range and a fast metabolism. My goal is to become toned up and put on weight. 10lbs of muscle is a good start and a goal I think I can do..
My problem is. I dont have gear for home exercise; so in turn, what sort of work out combination will work for me at home. Example, how many sets of push ups etc. Can someone please explain to me a few good exercises to do at home. Plus what is a good substitute for whey protien since my gutts cannot handle it.
For my pre work out I am thinking, two pieces of whole wheat bread and a banana. Does that sound like enough also accompanied by two cups of water?
I dont know how to measure carbs, calories for my body mass etc. Big thing is, I tried to research things on the net before joining a forum. Just more questions haha.
Should I be hammering in some cardio and if so, should it be by hard work outs or jogging-which i hate more than anything. I have poor cardio and i know i need to strengthen.. Also would a 30 min gym workout be good enough every second day? I have lots of time on my hands right now since I am doing my clinical s and those shifts are spaced out greatly-nothing like a fulltime job.
Just any advice would be great for someone who is starting out and has tried before but failed!
Thanks for the advice!
