Just add some fats to your isolate....it will slow down the rate of absorption...1 Tbsp olive oil, or 1.5 Tbsp natural peanut butter.

PI've been telling people this exact same thing...use fats and you'll slow the digestion rate of any form of whey...IMO casein is just another supplement company scam to push an inferior product...Back in the day most guys during the off season would eat eggs before bed and hell some still do as egg is a very high quality protein second only to whey.

Free range eggs are a staple for me in the evening....
Whey concentrate from a good supplier, and isolate mix is also great.....
Olive oil, macadamia nut oil, flax oil , udos oil, all good choices to add to whey iso to stop the crash.....As an isolate crash is very sickening...Concentrates with good ingredients are good...But a bad supplier of concentrate will blow your ass off...lol..

Guys do you think that Isolate + milled flax is enough to slow digestion for a shake pre bed ?

I would say probably not as well as actual flax oil....You don't digest milled flax fully, it acts more like a fiber going through digestive tract......Please correct me if i am wrong, that is my understanding...

Id would add a Tbsp of good oil...or eat 3-4 eggs.

Ok thanks I thought the fat in the flax would help slow down enough along with the fibers. I was using 3 tbsp of flax and no olive oil. Real olive oil taste so bad (peppery taste). And PB is a no-no for me, allergic to nuts. Well I guess there is no easy way out on this one too.

Look for a company called NUTS TO YOU Nut butters. Their products are unreal. Try their almond hazelnut butter spreads, they taste like cake. I eat it with a spoon when having a shake to slow digestion. I could sit down and easily crush a whole jar of this stuff no problem. Its THAT good.
