The article is a bit misleading...aas are not predominantly use for healing purposes by athletes...corticosteroids are....totally different animal. AAS wil improve recovery but they do not have the anti-inflammatory benefits corticosteroids do. The unit has actually been out for several years...ive used it on knee and elbow injuries and it does work very well.

AAS will aid in recovery and as such can assist in healing an injury, but in all honesty it's a pretty mild effect. Corticosteroids are designed to make an impact with healing but the there is a down side to using them....you're best bet is to train smart and avoid injury in the first place.

Those micro tears can add up,in my case from not being able to rack the weight properly during power cleans.

Deca has helped with any injury I've ever had, even significant injuries. I can only verify anecdotally though. I had a second degree tear of my hamstring four summers ago. Couldn't walk for a week. Six weeks later with some deca and ART I was doing 600lb hacks and 400lb squats. Same with a dislocaated platella x2 . The therapists couldn't believe how fast I recovered. I did not have cortizone injections in either case.
