hey I was wondering what your take on bcaa's was.... seems to be equal people saying that it's a waste of money if you eat meat, and others saying it's top 3 sups you should be taking.... and if you do think they're good... do you believe in poliquin's mega dosing of .44 per lbs.....

I think this totally depends on the individual and how long they've been training, how hard they train etc. Most guys don't put out near the effort in or out of the gym to be spending money on anything more than maybe a protein powder and lots of quality food. I think most of the guys who say BCAAs is a waste really don't train hard enough to need them and many also believe the advertisements statiing that you'll gain all kinds of muscle mass etc with BCAAs. It's like AAS if you haven't laid down a solid foundation from a few years of hard training with a solid nutritional plan then no don't waste your money.

hey thanks for the reply! so much about supps to learn.... only been training seriously for a year, google is great but I never know if what i'm reading is actually worth reading lol makes it really hard to learn anything
