Hello, I am new here. Just a question about weight training. I read on many websites that Doing Low reps with High weights is the best way to get strong muscles. Is this true? If so, How many reps is the right way to do it and how many sets of it.

Yes that is correct..but it is important to first learn proper technique before lifting heavy. As well you need to decide what your ultimate goal is..just strength or strength and size. It is very important as well to include a variety of rep ranges not just low reps...i try to include low, medium and higher reps to it all types of fibres. I would suggest 4-5 working sets per exercise on large muscle groups like quads or back and 3-4 for smaller ones like arms. Three to four exercises for large muscle groups and 2-3 for smaller ones. As for rep ranges 2-3 reps for a first heavy set followed by 3-5 for a second, 6-8 for a third, and 10-12 for the fourth set. Warm ups are imperative before your first set and should take 3-4 sets to be completely warmed up but not tired...that is the key.

very informative. Thank you every much. I am not looking to get huge arms but I would like better strength.
