i workout in the morning before work, i get up eat 1/2 cup of oatmeal, whey powder then bike 5 mins to the gym.i do my workout then drink whey powder then bike to work about 1/2 hr. so my question is if i'm looking to cut should i skip eating before my workout to help with cutting or not?

well i should say that i'm not just cutting i'm trying to build lean muscle and cut fat. i curently do 5 day in the gym and 2 off (mon,tues,wed, fri,sat).i'm at 185-190lbs (depends on time of day)and 5'8"

Always eat prior to training. Your overall diet will determine if you are cutting or gaining...pick one you aren't doing both.
