Hi Guys,

I hoping to get some engine advise...I just had a new short block put in my wrangler due to massive oil consumption. The top end was cleaned and new seals etc were put on. Now that it is fixed i'm trying to decide if I should trade it in while it's still worth something. Anyone have experience with life of the vehicle after something like this?

Nobody knows about the rest of the vehicle but it could be a good time to sell with fresh work just done.

If engine was done, and the valves and seats etc are in good condition, the next thing to worry about now is the tranny etc....You can check the transmission and differentials through oil analysis, it will give you a real good look at what is going on and help your decision...
If the Heads were pressure tested, and all is ok, then the engine will be good.....
Then the decision is yours whether to sell or run it....

Thanks guys.

I didn't mention that this Jeep has 76 K on it which is why i'm concerned. Way too young to have such problems. I think i'll give it a few months to see how she runs then decide.
