I am at a loss for words and there is a darkness over my heart after losing one of my best friends yesterday. Peter Chiasson was a true friend and a fellow competitor who had a passion for BB and helping others through MAT. It was only a few days ago we spoke for the last time...he had a way of making you feel as if you were smiling from the inside with those awesome hugs...it was his trademark. After a tragic motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon he was taken and it burdens me to have to say goodbye in such a way. He was loved by many and changed the lives of those he met because he touched our hearts. Rest in peace my brother. I will see you in the next life!

For those of you who unfotunately never got to meet Peter and speak with him, I cannot begin to describe how brilliant his understanding of biomechanics of the body was and it showed in his physique and overall health. Peter won the men's Masters last year at the Ontario Provincials and was well on his way to showing up at Nationals this year looking better than ever. I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with him last weekend at Provincials and was lucky enough for him to squeeze a treatment session while I was in town. He laughed at me the whole session. My range of motion is less than stellar, lol. The difference in my mechanics after one session is incredible and I was to return next week for another, but now I'm returning to say goodbye. I was in complete shock last night when I heard and when the shock wore off the emotions kicked in. Today's workout was very hard, but anyone who knew him would know he wouldn't want anyone taking time off from their prep. Thanks for the spot today brother!

It is with great sadness and devastation that we announce we've lost a member of the Ontario Physique Association & CBBF family yesterday afternoon. With heavy hearts, we are saddened to say these words, "we will all miss you, Peter Chiasson". Peter was an amazing athlete whose passion for the sport shone through. Please keep his loved ones, especially his beloved girlfriend Sandra Pacheco in your thoughts and hearts during this time. We send our love and condolences to everyone who has been affected by this sudden tragedy. RIP Peter Chiasson. Thank you to Glen Grant for this photo.
