I'm 53 and have been lifting on and off for almost 25 years. During the last couple years I have to come notice that it's getting increasingly difficult to make much for gains. I realize that my body starts to produce a little less of everything as I age, except of course for soreness, that comes easy, lol Is there a point where gear is almost necessary to pack on any kind of extra muscle? I did cycles 15-20 years ago and got good results then, but have kept down the natural path in recent years. Now I again find myself pondering the use of test ( and possibly gh at an anti aging dose) to combat my age issues. I'm obviously not going to be having any more offspring, so would some form of trt continue to show some muscle building benefits?

Yes.TRT dosages somewhere between 100 and 175 mg a week.GH or ghrp's also help.

At your age your GH and test levels would most likely be on the lower side which would make significant muscle gains very difficult. I would suggest doing blood work just to gt a baseline and starting TRT at 125mg very 7 days and if you like 1iu of GH very morning with breakfast.

Thanks for the reply. I will take your advice and schedule a trip to the doctor for a blood test. If for no other reason than to see where I sit.
