Hypoglycemia... my only setback. I have gone as high as 19Ius of Humalog, and felt some pretty good hypoglycemia coming on. I shook like a leaf and sweat more than a virgin in a hotdog factory...
Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE slin. I've included it in alot of my cycles over the years, and will continue doing it. I never go as high as 10Ius now. I'm comfortable with it, and I feel I don't need to go higher than that. Just make sure you research as much as you can first, and make sure your diet is in check! A poor diet will kill you. Keep all fats (ALL fats, even "good" fats) out of your "insulin window". It will transport fatty acids into fat cells just as much as it does transport carbs into tissue. You can get fat REAL fast... and believe me, don't let anyone tell you insulin makes you fat. Only your diet will... becareful and good luck.

If you do your research, you should not have any probs other than occasional early hypo onset symptoms... easily fixed with more carbs. Start slow, 2iu post workout with 30-40g of dextrose or the like, working your way up to no more than 8-10iu over the course of a few workouts and increase the carbs accordingly. Make sure to take in 10g of carbs for every IU of slin until you assess your response.
Myself 5-7iu is perfect with 5-8iu of GH post workout. Gained almost an inch on my arms in 5 weeks doing slin/GH/IGF-1 (8iu/8iu/50mcg) post workout, dose split up. pinned into either biceps or triceps, depending on workout. Been 3 months since then and my arms are still growing....new cells are maturing.
i think a lot of ppl have heard a lot of false info on slin......human body has safety mechanisms to prevent death and such from slin overdose.......i dont believe insulin can cause great harm in healthy ppl.....even in cases of misuse/overuse.......

Either way it's not that big of deal. Start low and maybe do it 3x a week to start after your workouts only. Having someone near you all this kinda shit is stupid....what he going to do hold your hand. :)

I think you've been missinformed. Insulin can be incredibly dangerous if missused. And yes, it can easilly cause death in otherwise healthy people. However, if taken properly with the right doses and proper food intake after, then you should not have a problem.
i beg to differ....and it wont cause death in otherwise healthy individuals ....what is this mysterious thing i am talking about?!?!?! counter-regulatory hormones...and lets explore what they are and how they work for the misinformed.....we'll start with Cortisol...an adrenal "stress" hormone released when theres low blood sugar......raising yer blood sugar by starting up gluconeogenesis in the liver...which means that it starts the conversion of amino's into glucose.......and next we shall talk about Glucagon.....when theres lo blood sugar it takes the glcose from the liver and yer muscle and sends it to the bloodstream.....thus alleviating any low blood sugar issues.......soooooo........now we know that only in the event of a HUGE overdose will you actually die.......and we are talking about a shit load.....like the entire stock of your local pharmacy.....100's of units.......much of what i said was stolen from somewhere else.....so i dont take credit for any of it......enjoy your slin :)

Yep, straight out of MD. I'm sure it was Jumbo Palumbo's column. But thanks for typing it all out, I was just too lazy to even bother...

Yep, ever since he got out of jail. He has too much heat on him, and needs to watch what he says. I remember him telling me that if I wanted to shoot IGF, all I needed was 10mcg ED in my delts only. I have never heard of anyone shooting that low...
...anyway, don't mean to hijack this thread, so...
Insulin is good!! :yeah

I find it interesting that no one has come forward with a bad reaction or adverse reaction to insulin use. The stereotypical view is that its insane or dangerous and playing with death. Its obviously not as safe as not taking it at all but seems like just another assumption from uneducated general population. No?

No one has come forward with a bad or adverse reaction because those who have tried it, or do it frequently, have never HAD one. Just call us the "educated ones"...
...those who fear death or think the use of Insulin is insane are those who have never tried it. It's perfectly safe, in my opinion... all you need is some education and a bit of guidance. Basically, you have to be a ****ing moron to actually put yourself into a coma... and if someone thinks that the "more is better" theory works with insulin, then they're just plain greedy, and deserve to be in a coma (wow, that's harsh... I'm an assshole). I think I'm safe in saying that most of us here have enough brains to know the difference between a CC and an IU, and to have a little caution in everything we do when we play this game...
