How long after the cessation of a cycle is it too late to administer hcg ? I abruptly ended a planned 12 week cycle of 750mg test e and 600mg Eq in it's 10th week due to too many injuries. I tapered for a month but due to a few extraneous reasons I stopped there. My last injection was first week of March and now I've crashed. Tired all the time , losing size (strength is still good) and little sex drive. In addition I had a sperm count of zero as of mid March when tested. I did another test last week and find out the results next week with my wife's fertility doctor. If the test is again zero, which I full expect, should I push her to prescribe hcg or is even worth it at this point ? Thanks for any input and yes , I should ****ing know better. Tapering always worked in the past but this time I blew it. IF I ever cycle again it will be a slow taper with a proper PCT.

I've had friends go to endo's months to years after and they prescribed hcg and clomid therapy

It is not to late hosehead........Personally if i were going to reproduce and had 0 spermatazoids...I would run a chlomid, and HMG cycle, along with hcg to start things up...
Hcg 400-600 ius e 3-4 days, and chlomid at 50 mgs per day after starting hcg for 2 weeks, then follow up about the same time as adding chlomid, with adding HMG at 75ius e 3 days for several weeks, not cheap, but very, very effective....Run nolva with the hcg and chlomid and hmg as well....10-20 mg per day......taper off the nolva slowly imo as well...
Some even finish up with 6.25 mg of aromasin ed for a week or so after nolva....
Do not drop estro to low...
Get bloodwork done to see how your lh/fsh range is now....Check estro and progesterone levels as well....Go from there...

Is the Nolva used primarily to avoid gyno ? I can't get it because I've had both glands removed. Thanks for the info IW. Sent you a pm.

Nolva is good for excess estrogen which may arise from hcg use, and it will not be to harsh of an estrogen killer as some AIs are...To much estro will keep you shut down as well....Negative feedback...
I like it better than ais for pct personally..

Items used in PCT and why:

HCG (contains LH and FSH) to increase testicular mass and increase testosterone production...ie kick start the testes

Clomid (selective estrogen receptor modulator) yes it does act as estrogen control but primarily we want the action on the hypothalamus...ie increase GRH production thus acting on the pituitary to increase FSH and LH.

Nolvadex...basically the same as above...the primary affect we want is upon the hypothalamus

Anti Aromatase...prevents the conversion of testosterone to estrogen via the aromatase enzyme...this controls estrogen production and prevents negative feedback loops due to estrogen...note: too much will kill sex drive because it reduces estrogen too much as IW said

The issue with using Nolvadex or Clomid for estrogen control is that because of the inherent nature of SERMS they do not prevent the production of estrogen they only block its action by attaching to the estrogen receptor and in essence preventing estrogen from attaching and working its negative actions...the free estrogen builds up in the blood stream so when nolvadex is discontinued recovery can be retarded due to the negative feedback loop created from this estrogen "rebound"

As an addition to the above.

HMG (contains more FSH and less LH) used to increase sperm cell production...works well in conjunction with HCG + Clomid + AI if you are looking to impregnate your better half.

Thank you to all who replied. Just a waiting game now to see if I can get a script for all this. If not, I guess I'm not getting those new golf clubs. Live and learn - the hard way.

I have a script for it. It's very expensive. 3 bottles costs me almost 300 bucks. Most insurance coverage won't cover HCG
