Hi everyone,

I just wanted to make a small return/update post and say hi to all the older and new members here on CB.

Life has taken me away from the gym for a year and it's been too long and I'm too soft.

The upside:

After I completely got off all gear as of last summer due to health concerns. (Higher BP/HR and slightly enlarged heart), my vitals have returned to very healthy levels. My BP last summer when I was "ON" was around 140/90 and my HR was 72bpm. I am happy to report that after coming off and focusing on getting all my vitals in check again, my BP came all the way down to 110/70 and my HR has slowly come down back to around 58 bpm and I'm hoping will continue to drop as I increase my cardio again.

The downside: After coming off gear, I slacked off big time. I fell into a slump of not being motivated and focused on other parts of life.. My diet slipped, my workouts slipped and slowly but surely my muscle decreased and bf increased... I'd still say I'm in great shape and look better than 90% of the people walking around but we all know we're our own worst critics and I assume almost everyone on this board doesn't want to be "average" or in "pretty good shape", we want to be ripped and muscular....

I'm back at the gym full-time, I purchased some really nice pieces for my home gym including a cable crossover and I'm looking forward to hard workouts, sweat and soreness.

I find being on the board here at CB, there is always a lot of support and encouragement so hopefully posting regularly here will help keep me motivated and moving forward. I miss the community here and all the great advice and guidance I've gotten from you all over the years.

Hope everyone is still doing well, I'll be around much more often now.

Thanks,

:)

Is it really the gear or pushing too hard with low rep squatting and deads?

Have you ever considered just running a really does of Test-E? Perhaps 250mg every 7 to 10 days? I have done some pretty large cycles and had similar health concerns as you. I know that my body can handle 250mg of test-e or test-c every 7 days. My liver values, cholesterol, blood pressure, and heart rate are all in check - even when I run the low dose for 4 to 6 months straight. A 8-12 week heavy cycle causes the symptoms, but those are pretty short and I only run those about once a year at my age. I find that the low dose test does amazing things for me. Maintain all muscle mass that I gained, healthy libido, and just a better sense of well being. Everyone is different though.

I forgot to mention that I take Strauss heart drops everyday to help keep the heart healthy and thin the blood. It is made from natural herbs like hawthorn berry, cayenne, garlic oil, mistletoe toe etc. It is very strong and taste like shit, but it does wonders for blood pressure, blood flow, and lowering of your cholesterol.
