Hey guys,

I have a naturally low test level that is in the very low 300s verified by a few blood tests over the past few years. I was at this level even prior to my first cycle so its not AAS related. My doctor will only consider putting me on TRT if my levels are in the low 200s as my level is currently in the "normal" lab test range even though its at the bare minimum. My doctor wants to repeat blood tests for me again to see if it has fluctuated at all. What would the best way for me to go about temporarily lowering my test level below 250 so that I would be below this range? I have some left over NPP that I could use a couple days prior to my blood test. Would this work? How early prior to my test should I do this and how much should I use? Also, what would be the best way of increasing my test level, after my blood test, back to the low 300s? Would I just run a short clomid/nolva PCT? I know there are other ways to temporarily lower your test level such as staying up 24 hours and being hungover before blood draw. I may considering trying these as well... Any advice?

The npp is a bad idea, time it wrong and you will have high test. The best solution is to change doctor's but that's not really practical.

Taking the test later in the day will give a lower testosterone reading, staying up 24hrs will also do it. Sleeping only 3-4hrs per night for 3-4 nigths before the test will do it. So will low calories, over tranining, too much cardio.

NPP by itself should decrease test, not increase it. How could you have high test? I'll try the low calorie, no sleep, and drinking a couple nights before method as well...

NPP will be detected as testosterone by the blood tests, it can't disinguish between endo and exo test, I hope you were joking.

The point is that you would have to use the NPP for 3 weeks or more to suppress your natural test then stop using it and let it leave your system before your blood tests, too risky in my opinion.

NPP should cause test levels to hit bottom within 3 days. NPP should only show elevated progest and prolactin levels and decreased test. If only test is being checked in the blood work, npp shouldn't show...

Hey Bro,

Sorry I misread, in my head I was thinking you were taking test phenyl prop, my bad... You are right the NPP shouldn't be detected by the testosterone test however if your NPP is fake, and sometimes it might be just low dose test then it could cause you problems.

Also, about 10 yrs ago Bill Roberts made short cycles popular, 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off. He posted tons of studies showing that 2 weeks of gear didn't shut down natural testosterone, it started to happen at weeks 3-4 depending on the dose. So using a light dose of gear for less than 3-4 weeks is not likely to shut you down.

Again, I wouldnt risk the NPP what happens if something screws up and you end up high on the blood test.

Thanks for the response Andre. Ya that's true that npp can often contain test in it but this is *do not mention ugl's* npp, which is a pretty reputable brand, and I've used the same vial in my last cycle and it seemed legit. Anyways, I go for the blood test tomorrow morning and hopefully I can score < 200. My last few tests have been between 250-305 for total test which is just within minimum range. My free test keeps testing below range but my doc is still refusing to prescribe anything. Hopefully this next test will be enough to persuade him...

Taking opiates will drastically decrease your test levels quickly, but I highly don't recommend that.
