I just took a quick look and it's been 5 1/2 years since I last posted a thread in this section so I figure I'm due for another one. Been a while since I posted last. Kinda fell of the wagon lately in terms of lifting. Gotten into a bit of a cycle where work and stress = less energy which decreases weight lifting which increases stress etc... Trying to break the cycle so I figured I would draw inspiration from some of you guys who are still in shape.

Really just saying hello. If anyone has any good motivating factors for hitting the iron again I'm all ears (no videos). My hands are getting soft.

Wondered wtf happened. Many different things you can do.A lousy workout is better than none.In the summer I might have to settle for very brief workouts,20-30 mins in my garage. You might try oly for a change.A different gym.I find right near bedtime relaxing.

My tips
- Suck it up and do it, this will get you in to the routine again. The exercise will help with the stress. I've told myself this exact thing many times it works.
- I work out right after work. Near the end of the work day I load up on carbs if needed and take any pre-workout supplements. ( caffeine for me )
- Take any stress you've had from my work day and use it in the weight room. This way your workout gets better fueled and the work stress does nt pour over in to your personal life.
- LOUD awesome, motivational music. ( 50 cent ready for war instrumental has great rhythm for lifting.
- Listen to motivational speeches from Arnold and the other greats.

Hope this helps, best of luck
