View Full Version : First cycle: test enant + EQ

Hi everyone. This is my first cycle, been training for 2 years. 42 years old.
I'm going to the gym 4 days a week, got a the 6 meal a day diet.
Been reading on trainng, nutrition and roids...

My first 3 weeks, i was at 500 mg of test enant and 400 mg of EQ.
Didn't feel much the test kicking in so with the approval of my coach i increased to
750 test and 600 EQ. I'm starting my 4th week. I know EQ take a while to kick in.
But i'm still not sure i feel the test kicking in !?!?

So far i gained 2 lbs a week and getting stronger... but still wonder if i'm supposed to feel something ?
I mean... i'm far from having a Superman syndrome, lol !!!

No side effects beside a slight increase in high pression and testicles a little smaller !!

Just wondering if i should be patient for another week or 2 or increase the dosage... still maybe that's it for me:
smooth vibe !!!

I am being totally honest here..if I were you I would really suggest finding a new coach...at least someone who has at least some significant experience and knowledge on the subject. Just the idea of telling you to increase the dosage of a long ester test and EQ at three weeks illustrates his complete ignorance on the subject. Do yourself and your health a favour...SERIOUSLY!

I get your point... he's an experienced bodybuilder. He doesn't suggest to increase more...
Still doesn't answer my questions...

Does your 'coach' use the same gear/do you know anyone else that has used the same stuff and achieved good results? How is your diet? How many calories/protein/carbs are you intaking?

Yep same gear...also for his competitions. ******** labs...
And i do build muscle, so far 2 lbs a week. What i what to know since i'm starting my 4th weeks
in 2 days his how should i feel ? I'm i supposed to be all crank up all the time ?
I want to discuss to feeling of being on test thx !

there's no special feeling on test... it s not like Redbull (it won t give you wings) lol. it will allow you to build muscle and recover better and give steady gains assuming calorie intake and macronutrients are at the proper level.

Thx man, great recovery i must admit !! What about the superman syndrome ? i guess it's like aggressivity ... suiting the personality ?

I notice an increase in confidence, normally a huge increase in libido also. I find I am very calm on test.

You do realize that long ester test and Eq will take 5-6 weeks to get blood levels high enough to "feel" something...especially pinning once or twice weekly. Also you arent going to feel like superman on any gear...its calle d performance enhancement which means the better your performance is naturally the more you will see when you add the gear...if your performance without gear is unimpressive...adding will just make it less unimpressive. This is the reason you want to learn how to train correctly, eat correctly and recover optimally prior to trying gear. Many people expect miracles because of the hype aas receives in the media etc...it doesnt work that way in the real world. You can look at it this way...you take an average car ie Audi A4 2.0T goes pretty good...nothing crazy....add high octane fuel plus tune (ie aas) and you go from 200hp to say 250hp...not bad but not that impressive....then you take a performance car ie Audi R8 and some gear ie (tune and racing fuel) you go from performance to scary...big difference. The more trained you are the better you will respond to gear...mainly because its not just the gear doing the job..its everything combined.

Oh...and i know many "experienced bodybuilders including pros who I would never take advice from...just saying.

This is exactly what i wanted to ear... i've got more confidence, more focus at the gym and i actually do feel more calm !!

Thx for the cues, i did know that EQ was long to kick in but i was expecting a 3-4 weeks for Test enanth ...

I ear you about training properly and eating the right stuff, that's all i do...train, work, eat, read about the whole thing, sleep a lot and start back... there is a lot
of solitude in that process... going back home on a friday night to eat well and avoid alcohol and party,s lol !!

I did got a nice routine of training well and eating well before starting the gear. Otherwise i would had started gear 2 years ago. I worked on the psycho side too...
i'm really into the 4010 tempo lately... i take less weight but i don't injure my self anymore and the results are there.
I'm keeping the machine clean and well tune for higher performance.

I ask questions on different forums, read from different sites, listen to the coach but at the end i try to get a picture on my own. Yes i realize experienced bb can
give bad advise. I don't have friends using roids so beside the coach i need inputs... so far this discussion did make me learn a few things !!!

There is not a lot of discussions on the psychological side of using steroids... i need to point out that my goal is not to get a buzz out of it or feel like superman,
you should know that !

Well you definitely wont get a buzz from aas...but at your age it will definitely help with training and recovery. Many older athletes run into natural lower test and really dont know it...obviously at your age you are making decisions with a better though process than less mature individuals. The key is to ask alot of questions, read a TONNE, take a things with a grain of salt (i think im aging myself here) and try to sift through the clutter to find the facts. You will find ten different suggestions for the same thing...but rarely will you find advice backed up with facts...the question "why?" should always be foremost on your mind.

There are some intelligent folks on here that can answer alot fo your questions so it is a good place to start. In my opinion you would be better off running just the test itself at 250mg twice weekly and a low dose of GH....say 2iu before breakfast. This would make significant difference in recover, as well as keeping fat at bay or burning fat if you are dieting, keeping you youthful etc and not breaking the bank. The goal here is not to add massive amounts of muscle but to improve performance and well being so you can see appreciable gains.

The coach originally suggest to do only 500mg test weekly like you do, i kind'a insisted on adding an anabolic... i want to more build muscle, i'm 6'1'' and was 194 lbs
before starting the cycle... I decided to higher the dosage 'cause next week i start a new job, full time in construction work.
I'm a part time musician giging on weekends on going studio work. With the new jobi will keep on training 4 days a week.

So there is a huge amount a stress on my arms and back due to mouvement repetition of the instrument and the job.
If i wasn't skinny and with an office job and no practicing on my time off i would had go with 500mg of test weekly.

I need to perform thoughout the whole week, not just at the gym. Construction work is so bad on a body, i use to have tendinitis
in the shoulder, elbow and wrist... a nightmare. I stop the job went back to school and got a full time chiro treament. It's all gone, but you know joints are joints, always on the edge of injuries... So i'm planning to keep that job for 3-6 months 'cause of money issue. Don't wanna give up training and music, i think that cycle is gonna help going through it !!

You're not the first one that point out GH because of age issue, i trying to get more infos about it, little harder to find than ass.
Gotta ask my guy about it... prices and everything...

If anyone can point out good reading references on GH ?

Forgot to say i take 0.5 mg of Arimidex daily.

At the dosage you are on you will have very little aromatization....arimidex will kill alot of your gains as well as pushing your hdl very low...not good. I would drop it asap.

No gyno problem, no sensitivity at all...was told to use it also for water retention !

If your diet is correct you will stay quite dry...if you are retaining water it is most likely due to diet...too many carbs, not enough sodium and or water. Also a little water is ok as it provides leverage to lift more weight and thus gain more muscle...killing estrogen is a huge mistake off season.

Got it, so quit Arimidex ! unless gyno or too much water.
Can you tell me how estrogen is good in gains ?
