So this morning I started off my day with boring cardio on my elicptical at home. I have it set up in my basement weight room so I have a nice view of the bank and the grand river. I was about 35 mins in to my session and getting very bored. When a deer walked by down by the river. I thought this was pretty cool. I grabbed my camera and went outside to take a few pictures.

I noticed a second deer after watching them for a bit. After they passed I went down the bank behind them to get a few more pictures of them leaving. I got a few more pictures than the deer heard me and headed towardds me. I thought it was just curious like horses. If horses see a person out in the wild they walk towards them to check them out. Than I noticed that the deer had two younger deer with them and the male deer was heading towards me a lot faster. So I got another cardio workout as I climbed the bank as fast as I could. This was not easy as the bank is made of soft dirt and brittle trees both of which gave way as I tried to climb up. He stared me down after I reached the top of the bank. they than took off running through the woods.

My boring cardio routine for the day became a little less boring and I got a few nice pictures out of it. Much more fun than staring out a window for the rest of the session.

im gonna try swimming with bait attached to me in salt water. that should prove interesting and calorie burning for sure.
