View Full Version : coffee alone pre-cardio?

p,

i was taking 200mg of caffeine pills prior to fasted morning cardio, but switched over to just a medium coffee with some splenda and no milk. i am seeing good results with this alone, should i be adding other ingredients, such as cla, or green tea or is coffee alone good enough?

also i know you want to keep your heart rate at least 120bpm to utilize fat stores, but what if due to injuries one can only keep heart rate at say 100bpm will they still lose fat?

Caffeine itself from pill from has been shown to be more effective then coffee...I would also add 1000mg L-carnitine in capsule form. As long as you are walking briskly thats fine...i never monitor my heart rate i just walk at a good pace and i have never had trouble dropping fat.

wash that caffeine pill down with a potent green tea, like the kind you can buy at costco, and youll feel a good thermogenic effect. I cant drink green tea without profuse sweating right after and a warm feeling all over. Others have told me the same thing. Try it.

Take 1000mg with the caffeine...before cardio and and before training.
