Hi P,

What do you think about on carbs/prot low fats while "offseason" was mostly high fats/prot and low carbs (carbs breakfast, pre/post workout in small quantity)

I've done keto twice with great results but keep heard it was different with carbs. I've heard faster and less cardio (I know everyone's different)

I'm curious to know your opinion :)

excuse my poor english

would you try dieting with carbs/prot low fat if "bulking" was high fats/prot and low carbs ?

I've done keto twice with good results but never carbs/prot with very low fat.

What about training/dieting with carbs ?

I usually use what most would consider low carb off season...so when i do start dieting i lower carbs somewhat more...which usually turns out to be around 120g of direct carb sources daily. Once i do this i monitor fat loss and cardio and when it stalls i will drop the carb further...eventually going keto which is usually approx 6 weeks out from a show. My diet usually starts 16-18 weeks out.

thanks P !

Do you believe in carbs/prot without added fats ?

Lot of people at the gym use this method. Rarely heard someone using keto. It's always very low fats (white fish, chicken, prot, eggwhites) with oats, rice, sweet potato and small fruits with breakfast.

I do high fats low carbs (under 200gr) for the past few months and never been as "healty". Everyone is sick around but I don't catch anything. Wasn't the case last year.

Essential amino acids (protein) and essential fatty acids (fat)...you ever hear of essential carbohydrates? thats because they dont exist...dieting low fat is a prescription for disaster. Fats control hormone production...low fat means low test, low gh, low thyroid etc...recipe for failure. Yes i know many people diet low fat and yes you will lose weight again at the expense of health and hormones. You can go low fat for a period a limited period of time to really suck the last bit of fat off the body but this is near the tail end of the diet. Remember the body can store fat so you can go for a few days without it not any more than that is not healthy.
