Hey guys,

So I've been eating with the emphasis on gaining mass and trying to get to 4000 cals a day, but I've been so consumed by it, that I didn't even try to look at how much protein I should be taking in at the same time. So about how much protein and how much fat should I be shooting for each day?

Thanks

well it's relative to each individual. what are your stats? photos? training experience? if you're trying to gain more muscle mass shoot for atleast 1.5 g protein per lbs of bodyweight. just because you're consuming 4000cals it doesn't mean you can eat anything. 4000 cals of quality food is harder to take in the 4000 cals of lower quality/junk food. Fats is also relative to the person and how well they absorb/digest it. personally i do much better with fats in the morning and around training time.

Nutrition wise the diet is on point. Your right though it is hard to consume 4000 cals of quality food, if it wasn't for the mass gaining protein shakes I'm taking I wouldn't even be close. I had a cheat day over the weekend and was reading the cals in the food....huge difference, but also huge difference in quality. Thanks
