I have been using bulk protein (canadianprotein) for as long as I can remember now. I got a popeyes gift card for christmas so I bought some Isoflex (which I have used before and loved except for the price) and Magnum Quattro. They both taste fricking amazing compared to CP stuff. The True Supps isolate is the same great quality but more than half the price.

I feel spoiled after drinking this stuff in the taste department but don't see my bank account supporting it. Does anyone here spend the extra wad of cash on the non-bulk brands for taste alone?

just curious.

ON whey chocolate coconut / cake batter / chocolate mint = very delish. I picked these up with my referral cash so the price discrepancy was negligible. Its worth it to switch it up every once in a while. Live a little.

At Truenutrition you can buy flavors for protein. It's not the best taste out there though.

Isoflex is the best quality protein all around. ON is garbage in comparison. True supps is definitely better than ON as well.

How about some evidence to back up those statements.

If it doesn't at least taste decent then i am forcing myself to take it, which means i probably won't

i use prefect nutrition - perfect whey vanilla
1 scoop of chapmans black cherry ice cream
and 2% milk

mix for 20 seconds in a magic bullet... to make it frothy and perfectly mixed

its tasty....

as #8 said live a little =D

solid first post dude. ON whey isnt amazing in quality, but it tastes good and is a good change from the normal. Isoflex is arguably the most overpriced stuff out there. I can pick up a good tasting isolate from the sponsors for WAY less than what they charge and is comparable in quality at least.

I used to get that stuff from Costco. The vanilla I can't do. The chocolate is doable!

Does anyone remember the name of the company that used to sell 40lb vaccum sealed bags of raw isolate and/or concentrate ? I think they were out of BC but you could pick it up from a wharehouse in Toronto as well. There was no flavouring added whatsoever. I didn't mind it but some said it tasted like ass. Most guys back on CJM and MN would know what I'm talking about. Started with a V. Vantage or something like that. You could get it for about 160 bucks including shipping.
