I have been waiting a month and a half for my f*****g money. It should be like in the goodfellas movie where you go there , grab the douche bags by the throat and yell directly into their ears "just give me the f*cking money" Its too bad that i cannot charge these idiots interest....Fcuk!!!

Depending on why you are getting a refund you can adjust the amount you are taxed by your employer. There are forms you can fill out to have it adjusted. I have mine so I usually owe them $100 or less at the end of the year. I would rather have MY money in MY bank account then them horde it for the year

got my income tax back within a week, but been waiting on the ontario gov. to send me my cheque for provincial sales tax refund for nearly 2 motnhs now.

I have a friend that just decided to pony up with the tax man after 9 years. After approaching R.C all he has to pay is 3 yrs back taxes from today plus interest. That means he made 6 yrs worth of tax free money.

So got an envelope in the mail from the gov. of ontario.... my refund request has been approved. But still no friggen cheque!!!

Spankmonkey. I took the time to read that page then went and read the whole Canadian Constitution. I found where they say the province can collect direct tax (income tax) in articles 91-92. But no where in there does it say the federal gov't CAN NOT. Therein lies the problem I believe. I guess it's really in the interpretation of the text.

Can anyone elaborate if they know more?
