Anyone have a Test Booster that they recommend? Do these even work, or is it all marketing? I have plateaued and need something to push me over the edge.

They are pretty marginal at best. For someone with low testosterone they might be helpful. If your natural test production is fairly good already they won't do much of anything.

Is a blood test the only way for me to determine if I have low/high test production? I know that I don't gain muscle easily despite not being a hard gainer (I can gain fat without much issue)

MG`s test booster from Trueprotein is very good, http://www.truenutrition.com/p-1140-mgs-super-test-booster-7713mg-capsules-240-capsules.aspx

^^ Do you have blood work to support this claim? I have taken many "test boosters" over the years and some made me feel anxious and horny while others did little if anything. I seriously doubt any of them actually elevated blood testosterone levels at all. Waste of money mostly. Some work for libido a bit, but thats the most you will get from them in my opinion.

Yes blood work is necessary to prove test is elevated.

Not since 6-oxo have i seen any natural test booster work to elevate test levels to any significant degree..ie enough to increase muscular gains.

Make me remember all the stuff I've tried 20-25 years ago, some of you must remember the GH pills we took in the night, I think it was L-Arginine, L-Ornithine and another one amino acids, it was suppose to raise natural GH! You must remember that Prae ?

And we had Yohimbe sublingal that was supposed to be the sh!t!

Also in 2004 I took Tribulus, didn't saw any difference, I tripled the dose and then it seems strength went up (placebo effect ?)!

Never took anything to 'boost' the natural test since then.

Phyotoserms-347 was pretty good for a test booster. I don't think it increased muscle gains at all but my libido was sky high. There is some clinical research showing the main ingredient is effective.

Lately I have been taking DAA, the price is right and there is also research to back up it's effectiveness.

isn't daa very toxic to brain?

I had never heard of that before but now that I am looking into it, it could be.

Thanks for the heads up.

On TN site they say : ''The effects of long-term DAA consumption is not known at this time, so caution is advised.''

Damn, I was hoping a test booster would help me get past my plateau.

Eat more quality food. Focus most effort on the big compound lifts. Use good form. Add weight or reps whenever you can. Get more sleep. If you drink, stop drinking. Then eat some more food.

All these things will be more effective then a test booster.

iForce has created a new test booster called Intimidate. It is NMDA. it works similar to DAA. The neurotoxicity issues are overblown. You can find amazing reviews pretty much in any of the popular American forums.

didn't Patrick Arnold come out later and say that 6-oxo converts to an androgen once in the body?

I have tried DAA multiple times as I have low testosterone and my endo won't prescribe me any injectables b/c I am only 22. All DAA did was make my loads huge...waste of money to me.

I've only ever really messed with DAA, it was the bulk stuff from Trueprotein and i can't say one way or the other. I didn't feel like it helped while i was taking it much, but when i stopped, i did feel like my libido dropped a bit. But, that could be from anything right, plus i'm only 25 so i doubt any test booster would do much.

I've been reading about several of these and I think most of the gains they promise are BS. I'm not saying that they do nothing, but just that one there own, it is unlikely they're do anything significant. And if you already have low testosterone, boosting what you already have probably won't do too much. most likely you would need to double or tripple your current amount to really get substantial benefits, which can only be done by taking testosterone. I've tried all these "boost your T naturally" workouts/diets, which put your body in a state similar to what these supplement companies claim theyre product does, and at the end of the day my opinion is they're all crap. Only way you gonna see real results is by manning up and sticking that needle in you. just my humble opinion

Best test booster of them all bro is going to be a good raw form of D-Aspartic Acid or DAA, particularly in the Calcium Chelated form.
