View Full Version : Anyone here have their current Ontario Security License?

Hey guys

wanted to get my security license to start bouncing on the side.
The ontario site says 60$ to write the test.

Whereabouts would I get trained or learn the cirriculum to pass the test? Does Ontario sell a book like they do for drivetesting?

I would like to do this as cheaply as possible without taking any overpriced courses.

its a solid $400 to take the course. You can do it online. I was able to find a bar owner who ran the class and got me my registration number for free. Your best bet is to find a few bars you want to work at and ask if they run the class and can get you the number. Its a ton of BS to get the license. They are cracking down a bunch of my boys got busted for not having a license and have to go to court now. I suggest NOT working without it no matter what they tell you the fine is MASSIVE. Google Ontario security license course I'm sure something will come up. The money is good for a side job and a plus is youre out at the bar not drinking and not spending money which is a big $ saver in my books!

Most course are $300.00 Anything over that is getting greedy. Call around to your local security angencies, they can tell you were to go for it etc
