So I have acquired the services of Body Athletica. I am going to do an 8 week program to get rid of some unwanted BF and then 8 weeks of lean mass gaining. The trainer doing up my schedule/meal plan is Ted Trush if you don't know who he is just search him on the CBB site and you will find his stats. In 8 weeks I will post first week and 8 week pics and on week 16 I will post the total transformation for the better I hope.

Used him for the last 6 weeks of my prep in November. He got me absolutely shredded. I had striated glutes and it was my very first show. You will not be disappointed.

Got my meal plan and routine last night. First 8 weeks is fat loss, second 8 is lean mass gain. I will post pics in 8 weeks.

been hearing good stuff about ted and body athletica but I don't think I will get what i am looking for in a 16 week split. Will not be teds fault though as I asked him for fat loss and lean muscle gain, he told me hard to do both at the same time as fat loss = calorie deficit and lean gain = calorie abundance. so ted modified a 16 week Lean Mass Gain, first 8 weeks fat loss and last 8 weeks to pack on as much lean muscle as possible. I know in the end I will be in better shape than now and I can always pickup another 12 lean mass gain or what ever ted recommends.

Looking at the meal plan I though I was going to be hungry all the time but eating every three hours is keeping the hunger at bay so if today is an indication of the next 8 weeks I should make out quite nicely. Only thing is all my friends are weekend drinkers and my family is not in the city with me so keeping clean on the weekends will be a challenge gonna take a lot of will power, so I think I may become a hermit for 16 weeks. LOL

Hi Rick organization is key to sticking to the diet, plan your meals, take them with you if you go out...put in Tupperware and throw the protein powder in baggies etc. If you are prepared you will stick to the plan if yu arent its easy to fall off!

Good call Prae, I made a weeks worth of chicken breast, salmon and beef. Cooked it all and froze it in the sizes Ted laid out for me. One question for all who do this regularly. My friends and I go to Eastside Mario's out every Sunday after playing softball. Do you guys/girls bring a meal with you?

Bring meals everywhere in a huge rolling cooler lol.

As far as cravings go...it rarely has to do with being hungry...more about deprivation. Sacrifice and forget about it.

Great advice , I find it also keeps me in check with portion control

Is there a reason not to just mix protein ahead of time (instead of putting the powder in baggies)? I do this, but wondering if I should stop for some reason? Cheers

You get one cheat meal per week (after two weeks on the diet) so if you want to use it at East Side Marios thats fine.

Not really i just dont like lugging around two full shakes....much lighter if water hasnt been added...and I like them cold not warm which can happen if they arent refrigerated.
