Is there really a need to pay 50% more for a whey protien Isolate when most concentrates are dirt cheap? I know that concentrates have more carbs, a little less protien per scoop, and bloat you more, but is that really going to make any difference in putting on muscle when your bulking?

concentrates if made by a good manufacturer shouldnt have added carbs, and also should be non gassy to digest......If you have these issues, get a better supplier...lol....
Concentrates are very good , and have their times to be utilized...

The only reason you should be buying an isolate is if you are lactose intolerant.

I've never noticed any difference when using a quality concentrate vs an isolate.
