Effect: I was taking 2 scoops during the day, so I cant comment on recovery aspect of it but it definitely was a pick me up. Gave me a decent amount of energy until I got to my next meal. So Im going to give it a 4/5
-Flavor: I have tried the Blue Raspberry (the new version) and its amazing 5/5, I have tried the old versions but they were packed with artifical sweeteners and now the new formula has much less.
-Value: Unfortunately Im going to say its not worth the amount of money, you can buy bulk bcaa much cheaper but compared to other bcaa supplements its not bad. 2.5/5
-Comments: There was no category for mix-ability so Ill just put it here, it mixes great no clumps when shaken in a water bottle. I would drink more of it if it was a little cheaper and didnt use aspartame. But they hit the money with the blue raspberry
flavor it tastes great.

Overall Ill give this supplement a 3.7/5

I agree , this has been a staple in my diet for many years. I personally like to put 6-8 scoops in with 4l of water and drink it all day.

Each flavor is great but I do prefer green apple and grape.

Green apple was also a great flavor with the old formula (with tons of artifical sweetener) I havent tried it with the new formula

Its not as sweet. I asked how much was in the old vs new (they wouldnt give me exact numbers, apparently nobody gives out this information. But looking at a can of coke zero it says right there). The old formula had over 200g of aspartame and the new formula has
16mg per serving (so 144g per 90 servings)

Big fan of this stuff... however, I found it worked best when I took large doses (40g-50g) during my workout... Smaller doses not so much

Also, I wish they would ease up a bit on the sweetner... Otherwise, great product

I'm not a fan of this new formula - Personally I like the older one best.

I found good use of this product.

It's very good to mask the heavier taste of other products like (raw) Acetyl L-Carnithine, citruline malate & BCAAs (if you need more), EAAs... one scoop is enough to make it easy to deal with all those ''face shaking'' products.

I like the old formula better then the new one. I have only tried the watermelon in the new formula.

Do you guys use Xtend in the offseason? Or do you think it serves no benefit seeing how you're already consuming enough protein in the offseason?

no such thing as an off season when it comes to Xtend :)

I have only used the old formula, but I have stayed away from it for the most part as they don't always source their raw materials from the best sources and the quality has been subject. If you are looking for an econo bcaa powder then sure, if you want one that has high grade raw materials I think there are better ones out there. I would give is 3/5 overall. The best thing it has going for it is the cost.

I've been using this for 2 years as an intra work out product, feel less crash after work out, watermelon flavour is highly recommended, little pricey though.
