Hey guys, here is a video of Derek Poundstone training chest with weights. I thought it was interesting to see what a strongman can do in terms of weights in the gym. We usually only see them doing their competition lifts like Atlas stone, tire flips, truck pulls...etc. He does a 225lb dumbell incline press in the video, quite impressive.
Enjoy:

Those 225's were so long and awkward. Bolts must have felt good on the thighs.

Absolutely amazing, seems like a pretty down to earth guy as well.

Nice video! It's cool to see that some 300lbs+ bodybuilders have stopped doing chin-ups because of their weights while he's 325lbs and chin-up without straps! I'm a believer to not use straps as much as possible, but sometime I prefer making one more chin-up because I have straps and get the most I can in my lats then leaving one or 2 chin-up off the table for the forearms.

I like too that he confirm what SS was saying with arm placement while benching.

I notice thought that I go lower on my dumbbell presses, I've been thought that way, you cannot take as heavy but it's seems to work more completely (maybe it's the reason I'm sore for a very long time after each chest training ?).
