Last night in a hockey game I separated my left shoulder throwing a clean hit on a guy into the boards. It felt really awkward for a few shifts afterward and I went to the hospital to get x rays because I thought it was broken, but its merely a "separation".

Essentially, there are a couple bones in my shoulder that have been forced downward, putting severe stress on the tendons holding the joint together causing the pain and weakness. Apparently there is nothing one can do for this injury but wait it out and deal with the pain however necessary.

My question is: I have a couple bottles of Anavar kicking around that I was saving for a spring diet, but I wanna know if using them at say 50-75mg a day will help and or speed up my recovery from this? I know var increases collagen synthesis, so Im thinking at least it will help partition some nutrients more efficiently and shave a bit of time off this shitty injury.....? What are your thoughts?

Anavar wont do much...its not really a muscle issue its a tendon and ligament issue. I would go see a sports chiro who has experience with athletes...I would accept the just wait idea thats BS...thats what they usually say when they dont know better. Where are you located?

im in London so I have access to one of the best facilities in the country, Fowler Kennedy. The physio is crazy expensive though and my school ins barely covers anything, and I have to pay for everything up front which is not legit on my income.

I would check out someone who has ART experience...generally I am not fond of physio because they really just dont have the expertise in the modalities used to treat athlete specific injuries.

Take 1 pill and rub it into your shoulder each night before you go to bed. LOL I guess we're not doing back this week??? Hopefully, you'll recover quickly - go easy and work back slowly.

would electrostimulation do me any good possibly? or perhaps accupuncture?

It may do a bit...ART would be better.

I had my right shoulder separated but never bothered me until I slept or pushed heavy weight. I kept on pushing in the gym till one day couldn't hold 30's. I had to go physio for 3 months at least. I got lucky cause it could have been worse. They made me do these very simple exercises and had to do them twice a day. Stopped working out chest and shoulders for 8 months (it sucked). I was close to getting 405 bench press which would have been a big accomplishment for me. It got down to 225 for 4 reps which sucked. Now I am up to 315 for 4 but it doesn't feel the same at all. Physio is expensive but you should go a couple times. I had insurance that covered 500$ which helped.
