I had a severe injury to my body and I was not able to go to the gym for a long time, and lost 7 pounds of muscle aside from the water + fat also lost ( or even gained due to be sedentary). I am in much better condition and optimal condition so going to start my training back in the gym, I previously was 220 lbs 5'10 15% bodyfat so i am not necessarily a 'novice'. I had been recovering with clomid while I was injured so that made it even harder to hold onto muscle though I kept my diet in check. I will start a 16 week cycle now, 8 weeks of lean bulk, and 8 weeks to cut. Now I am not experienced with losing a significant amount of weight then trying to gain it back quick, so how long an average would I be able to gain my 7 pounds of lbm back? Might it be at an accelerated rate, or just the usual time it takes to gain similar amount on cycle 8-10 weeks?

I was expecting to gain it all back plus 2 or 3 extra pounds of muscle on top tho I don't know if that is possible since I need to gain my original weight back. Goal of cycle is to cut, however 8 weeks of lean bulk to gain my weight back and some extra as well.

If you have been sedentary for awhile why not spend a few months in the gym training naturally to see if you can gain the muscle back without the gas. 7 pounds isn't that much.

^agreed. 7b pounds will come back in weeks let alone months. alot of the weight is not actual muscle loss, but the ability for your muscle to hold glycogen / water. I was down over 10 pounds at the same bodyfat after taking 6 months off. wasnt more than 2 months before i was hitting previous PRs in the gym let alone getting the weight back
