I am contemplating starting up a competitor forum just for competitors or someone who is not anonymous. At the same time I will create a new usergroup that will be assigned the rights to post and start threads in that forum. This is to stop attacks on competitors and/or people who don't post anonymously. Maybe it can be called something else instead of competitor forum but more or less it's for the ones that want a safer place to post without being attacked in the process.
What do you think? Feedback and suggestions welcome.

With being out in the open with our names and reputations it certainly makes me think twice about anything i post. A competitor forum would be a great addition.

I agree with all the above. NOW when my real name is googled, it can lead people to here, anyone can read what I post. In some ways i wish FC could go back under the wire again so I could post in the open and not have my kids read it or clients.

Ar we talking about aas here ? I for one never give out any aas advice on the boards anymore. It's so individual that ther eis no one fits all bill for any of it. Plus it's only a minor component of contest prep anyways.

That's why I don't want my user name linked to my real name. I work in IT industry and I had it happen more than fiew customers telling me they googled me and asking about when I competed etc. I would give my real name in a closed forum no problem. All I want for customers to be able to find when they google me is my linkedin.
