Usually people dieting to lower bodyfat stay away from milk product (beside cottage cheese) but since Allegro Firm Cheese countains ~1 gram of fat and is lactose free, could that be a food that could be added to a someone's diet?

On a side note, I did a search for cheese and some thread came up about some guy names "Cheese"... seems like a messed up "ombre". He got the Nate treatment, ouch!
P.S: DK, don't worry I haven't been eating Allegro but saw the oversized package at Costco this morning and it made me wonder.

Usually, people stay away of diary because of lactose (milk, cottage cheese, concentrated whey protein...). Allegro have less than 1g of lactose/carb, low fat and can be use while dieting. 15% fat cheese is fine too (especially on very low carbs, moderate fat diet).

I say it's fine. I was recommending it to my clients and they loved that shit. I personally don't like the taste very much but it's not bad, high protein, low fat and low carb.

I'm not opposed to dairy in a prep for the most part (not last 2 weeks) if you normally take in dairy in the offseason.

The slices needed a piece of paper in between because they kept sticking together. That being said I didn't mind the taste at all, it was just a pain to separate and they were expensive.

I do as much as a cup of skim up to the last week of dieting. I drop all yogurt and no fat cottage cheese a month before.
how expensive is this at Cosco? I love salmon with egg whites, dill and green onion with a cheese slice. is this my new cheese?

The Allegro they have at Costco is a big block of cheese, not slices and it's ~10$. I mean it taste pretty good considering it's under 1 gram of fat and a lot of protein.

The slices aren't very soft - more of a swiss cheese kind of hardness, so keep that in mind if your sandwich would require a soft-ish piece of cheese.
