Proscar and low sperm count

I was reading that taking finasteride can lower sperm count and it will be that way even if you stop taking finasteride. Is this true??

Has anybody had trouble concieving a child if you ever used finasteride??

Post any info or studies you have on this. Thanks

i googled it and after i saw a laywer's commercial saying that if you have ever used proscar or propecia to call because it permenentaly damages you by giving you low libido and low sperm counts even after discontinue use.

so i googled to try and find studies and the studies say that sperm count increases after stopping it but i read several stories of guy and couples saying they are having a hard time concieving because they used propecia, and still having trouble even after stopping it??

does anybody on this site use finasteride??

I heard the same thing man. But it appears that it happened to 2% of the users.

Maybe it can mess with your natural production of testosterone (libido and sperm count...)? Finasteride is an hormonal medication after all. Just speculations...
