Hi P,

Do you think Dave Palumbo's diet is best for a female ?
I've read on it already. Seems easy to follow.

Which model is best ? I've seen those http://www.canadabodybuilding.com/showthread.php?17343-Dave-Palumbo-ketosis-diet-for-a-female

As for cardio ? Low intensity (120-130bpm) 20mins morning and increase each weeks ?

Thanks !

weight loss essentially..."being fit"

she's training (need a better program...in progress) and doing cardio already

keto is extreme
moderate carbs, low fat, high protein and good excercise program..

You'd still need to know past and current training history, current nutritional plan if any, motivation levels, percieved ability to stick to a plan etc.

Dave P's diet is great for a female....most females respond better than males because most should not be eating starchy carbs at all. Keto is far from extreme...most people think this way because of the really low carb count but a standard low carb low fat BB diet is MUCH more extreme than keto. Keto is a natural human condition when carbs are removed from the diet...the brain switches to ketone bodies and runs perfectly...actually more efficiently. Low carb low fat is extreme because what you are essentially doing is teasing the brain with limited glucose but not allowing it to switch to keto...its like chinese water torture on the brain. Low intensity cardio is best on keto...start at 30min once per day 7 days per week and work up from there.
