I would say that about 40-50% of the time I order something that is shipped through CP I have an issue with it. Whether it takes too long or the carrier doesnt even bother to attempt delivery (I know this because I am home waiting for the delivery only to find the attempt notice on my door), I am just becoming so sick of this POS excuse for a courier service.

I really wish it would just be privatized so it would become more efficient and consistent. I received a pack from Purolator the other day and this driver went above and beyond with his level of politeness and customer service.

I am SICK to death of CP and wish that the sponsors here didnt use them.

That is all.

They have your number #8, LMAO! Seriously, i have had so few problems with CP i can't remember when the last one was, 20/25 years ago. I can't even remember what the issue was.

I can't recall any problems with them. #8 you must be on their black list.

Since the strike, I've lost 50% of my packages. I asked for signature and for some reasons, it's lost in the postal facility or delivered and signed to the wrong peoples. Never had any problem with UPS and purolator. It's double the price, but at least there's no stress that your package will get there in time.

I hear you about staying home and waiting all day for a package, only to find a card in your door to pick it up at the post office. The delivery guy in my area was a lazy F@#$!..I say was, because now we have a new person (female) that will actually knock on your door before filling out a missed u card. This used to piss me off royally...I guess a lot of people complained including myself.

^^ Exactly. Another shining example of classy, hard working employees well deserving of a pay hike.

What a joke.

Would not say that they are steal, but there is defiantly some organized crime going on, in certain parts of Canada. Tracking/Signature/President's stamp on it - means nothing. They decide there is something of value in it, they will steal it. Why? because they can, as they know there system is joke and they hardly EVER get caught. Takes what a 100 pieces of mail or more go missing before they decide to pull there head out of the ass and realizes someone is stealing it , to do a half ass investigation. Joke is all I can say.

100 % Correctomondo!!! And just try to get them to start an investigation on their own people..not happening unless some political pressure forces them into it.

I use to get no knock delivery notifications on pretty much every package. When they finally did knock I tipped the guy $5. From then on they not only knock every time but they actually wait a couple mins for me to get to the door.

I think your local postal guy gets a feel for his neighbourhood. All the postal workers know, they need to make a first atttempt at your door, but allot don't and just card your box. Its up the consumer to complain. So call your local post office depot and ask to speak to the supervisor, unless you put complaint in, they will keep on being lazy and not make a first attempt. They also know allot of people don't know there suppose to do so as well and take advantage of it.

This is now 4/4 packages in a row that have been "re routed to correct location" after a **** up. I cannot believe this "business" actually functions this ineffectively. Any other company with this shitty of a track record would be out of business within a few weeks. Lets keep subsidizing this because it is an exceptional and necessary service for canadians.

What a complete joke. How hard is it for a machine to sort things by postal code? Unreal....

I think it is almost completely dependent on your post man and your main office. No risk of getting fired or incentive for working hard breeds some shitty and lazy workers. That is all.

If you want to get your package/letter delivered successfully, choose Purolator or UPS. 95% of the time, they're always on schedule and I never lost anything. Also, tracking system is very accurate. CP tracking is a joke. It's more expensive, but worth it. Think about it: You ship with CP, they lost your client package... You gotta refund him or send again. That can be a big loss. I worth it to pay 10-15$ extra and have peace of mind.

Well if it were only 10 bucks more it would be worth it maybe. But when i send things in Ontario it costs me about 10bucks express (2 days) and the same size and weight package is just under 40 bucks to same location with Purolator...but it's overnight.

Package 5/5 now re routed lol.

I have never had 5 orders get ****ed up in a row at tim hortons and I highly doubt anyone else has either. Say what you want about other fast food or cell service providers, but CP is still king of the **** ups in my books.

5/5! At least they are consistent.
