Hey guys,

I was currently doing a cut and I am training first thing in the morning (6am). I was wondering what you guys think about the necessary nutrients before I train, whey only or whey and a fruit source ( fructose will have minimal effect on blood glucose= minimal insulin response) pre workout.

I plan on doing low carb 0.5g/lb low fat and high protein 1.5g/lb. I am 170-175 lbs right now and when i competed in april 2010 i was 148lbs at the weigh in.

Depends on your diet type if keto then protein and a fat source...if general low carb then protein and a low glycemic carb source like oats...stay away from fructose...it is not an optimal carb source.

One high carb MEAL to refeed NOT a day!
