I am 45 year old male who has been on paxil and epival for 12 years. Over this time I have functioned well on it with no major issues and felt quite good. Then 12 weeks ago I had the stupid idea to do steroids. Obviously the results are horrendous, I am in a major depression now, losing weight, anxiety and other issues. 3 doctors and every single person I talk to say things will return to normal once the steroids metabolise their way out of my system. Its just hard to believe that when you are the person suffering, Im sure people understand. I just want to return to how I felt before my horrible decision. Kind of looking for steroid experts opinion if things will go back to normal once they clear and how long it will take. I did 150mg of cypionate a week for 12 weeks

Hi Avesher, I am fully expecting some good feedback through to you via some of the board reps.

150Mg of Cyp per week? What kind of research did you do?

Note: A simple web search of SSRI's and AAS yields a plethora of useful (and useless) information from ppl such as yourself.

Best of luck to you!

so how long ago was your last shot?
it takes approx 4 weeks to clear your system, because of the other meds you were on it may take longer for you to return to your present state.
not sure whether I would recommend PCT or not with the other meds you are on as it may cause even more swings and fluctuations.....i think you may have to ride it out unfortunatley.

anyone else??

3-4 months you should be feeling normal.

So no pct was done and you're wondering why you feel like s*&t? even at that low dose you still suppressed your own natural test production.

PCT is over rated. IMO the pct drugs make you feel shittier than low test. I never run pct anymore. But that's just me. And I know a few guys that go that route as well.

do you think PCT would help considering his situation and the other 'scripts he's on ?

100 percent that would help him. Throwing your hormonal system out of whack is asking for trouble. And never doing PCT Gigantor...maybe if you never come off. How can having no test levels and elevated estrogen levels be acceptable at any time (unless you're a chic?

yeah I learned this the hard way. Its been 2 weeks since my last shot and I am starting to turn the corner on feeling better I believe. I think due to the lower doses I will feel better soon. Thank you so much for everyones input, I value it greatly

I was on the test for 10 weeks
I did 150mg shot every 9 days on avg--very small dose

which leads me to these 2 questions:

how long do people think it will be til I feel normal again
Why do I feel soo awful the first 3 hours after I wakeup

I'm having trouble believing such a small dose, at such long intervals, made this big of a difference... Avesher, were there ANY other factors affecting you during this time? Were you taking any other drugs? Any other meds?

It works for me. It works for alot of guys. I should correct myself I did take some aromasin. And i just keep tapering the dose down till I'm at 100mg then I come off.

Just kinda reading through this...... I guess my number 1 question would be are you 100% sure that these latest symptoms are related to your recent use? I mean were talking 75 mg/week..... Thats not even HRT levels is it?

I've been on 10 times the test your coming off, and I'd say the worst side I had was bad skin, and maybe a little lazy for a while....Usually back to normal in a couple of months.
As far as feeling worse in the morning, I'm no expert but I'd guess that its more related to your pre-existing condition?

That's a small dose of test...

you could use some nolvadex or clomid to accelerate recovery (ask your doc first or see an endo)

If you feel/felt like shit on test, do not use trenbolone !
