Hello,

I'm Adrian, 33 yo, and am moving to Calgary at the end of September (from UK). I'm not huge, but got some good muscle mass on me. Will post some pics of me soon.

I was looking for a hardcore gym for bodybuilding in Calgary where one can deadlift and make noises and train with chalk, etc. I don't like the clinical atmosphere at most of the commercial gyms, at least the ones I've seen here in London.

I read older threads about this in here, and Remington and BJ's gyms were mentioned, but now searching online it seems these have shutdown?

Could you please let me know whether this is true, or/and recommend any good hardcore gyms.

I'll be living in N.E. Calgary, but am willing to travel further away if the gym is good.

Thank you in advance,
Adrian.

yes, I've seen that thread before posting the question here, I just had the impression that the place Ice Age has was more dedicated to powerlifting as opposed to bodybuilding. But when I arrive in Calgary I'll got check the place for sure.

cog - sorry to bother you with this: you mentioned "the best one is at Sunridge". I don't know Calgary at all yet - could you maybe tell me the gym name or/and address?

thanks a lot, hope you have a good weekend there.
