Hey guys,

I ordered two vials of hcg from overseas. I got a customs seizure letter a couple of weeks ago stating that since the package is under 30g, they're going to need my written consent to inspect it. So I signed the letter and faxed it to them.

I later found out that importing hcg is prohibited in Canada. So what's the worst that can happen now? I've read a few places that all that happens is that you get a letter notifying you that the package will be returned/destroyed and an explanation of why you can't import HCG into the country. Please tell me this is so?

It's history usually and you get a bad boy letter...sometimes they send it to you and the letter says don't do it again dependent on the item in the pack..thats it

Hmm.. well this is far from the first time that I've had a package seized however I do notice that customs inspects my packages more often now than they used to. Does having your address flagged mean a higher rate of inspections/ they check all packages from certain countries or what exactly? Because some shipments I have coming from the UK (prescription meds) arrive on time, every time, within 3-4 days and most other overseas items almost always get stuck at customs. weird.

Apparently China is a nogo

I'd heard the same thing about China, then I ran into a guy I hadn't seen in a while and he was telling me how he was getting mail from China.... Just lucky so far?

I don't try the overseas thing anymore , but I once had a pack of Nolva opened by Customs and then re-taped and sent, no letter or anything...... I would have to say that the country of origin played a big factor in why it was inspected.

This is like the second thread regarding Customs 30 gram policy in like the last 2 weeks, I'd never heard of it until then?
Whats up with this?

I had one item seized, so I used another address to receive. No problems since then.
