Slight bend,

- Help keep back straight
- Less pressure on my knees/legs that could cause buckling
- Feels more natural
- helps keep my body centred over my feet vs just bent over with your legs straight

Knees slightly bent , you just need to find out the position for you in which you get full stretch and contraction of the hamstring while having a straight back....

In order to fully activate the posterior core you need to bend the knees....glutes, hams etc will be the main mover here while locking the knees places more of the stress on the lower back.

As with what everyone else has said, stiff legged deadlift's are meant to be done with a slight bend in the knees. The term "stiff legged" means that you keep the positioning of the knees (slight bend) constant throughout the movement.
