I don't know about those knee's to the head...I know the sport is dangerous but you could do some SERIOUS damage ...

Never get cocky in a fight.... Those knees looked painful, was a good stoppage.

Man, I hate when a ref stops a fight earlier but that was way too late IMO. 26 unanswered punches and 4 crazy knees to the head...Even the announcer sounded concerned for the safety of the fighter.

I do miss Pride though.

See what happens when one thinks they're a tough guy. Bang. Good night.

What the hell is the dif, between a knee or a well placed elbow?

It should all be allowed IMO, knees, soccer kicks, stomps, elbows, and I would go as far as to say head buts. Its all allowed in Vale Tudo and there are not nearly the head injuries in that or in MMA as there are in boxing.

It didn't need to be issued to both fighters for that to happen. One guy can get it as well.

The only 2 I don't like is the elbow and Knee since they cause too many cuts and early stoppages. All the years of watching Pride I did not see any serious injuries from the result of knees or soccer kicks.

Good fight. Interesting ending as he catches a final right, goes in for a take down, grabs one leg, but gets frustrated by a sprawl and winds up with Emeliorenko on his back. Not a place you want to be.

are you serious .... you must have no clue .... knee provides MORE striking power than a elbow...I guess the UFC took the knee's to the head out of the fights for no good reason...lol...
