This guy in person is a beast. Just a big jacked guy with the frame that most seek and will never even come close to attaining. He coached me through some lifts on my bench technique and some mind muscle stuff that I am obviously lacking.

This guy knows his stuff for sure and I recommend him highly to anyone seeking training / nutritional advice from a seasoned vet. Definitely one of the most knowledgeable people in bodybuilding on this forum.

Thanks buddy, hopefully we can lift soon again. I feel as if Ive improved my technique already.

Thanks #8. I think you are only saying the nice things because I promised you a couple of free shaker cups. LOL. It was great training with you. You're always welcome to join me anytime. Same invite goes out to all CBB members.

SS is one of those guys that, even as big as he is, you can just tell he's a good guy... in my 8 years on these boards, I don't think he has had any ugly confrontations with anyone... the fact that he knows his stuff is understood... I too encourage anyone in the area to hit him up...

SS... you still in touch with John and James?

^^ He looks like a truck is walking through the gym, but when you ask to work in he smiles and says no problem at all.

So Im almost done my first week under the training guide of SS on a higher volume program. It has been years since I have experience this kind of DOMS from a legs day. Wowzas. This kind of lifting is surely gonna get me results. The pump I had from legs day is still around over 24 hours later lol.

Tomorrow is my day 5 on the program and the last day of the 5 day split. I encourage anyone looking to step their game up to hire him for some nutritional or training advice. I have a feeling my numbers are gonna be probably my best ever this winter, while I pack on some solid mass.

I was doing much lower volume strength training stuff. Ive never really considered myself a "bodybuilder" per say. I got into it for athletics and have kinda always trained that way, never trying to just get "huge", was never really my goal. I needed to switch it up badly and this new shorter rest, higher volume routine definitely still satiates that athletic aspect I like while giving me a good amount of hypertrophy. I should grow quite a bit on this program. Since my diet rebound Im thinking Im already back to 220-225. Might make it to 250ish before I start dieting down again. Im gonna have to eat a lot of KD to get there lol

Mix in a can of tuna with the KD. Used to love the stuff during my school years.

Was your squat form considered near optimal by chance?

SS has never evaluated my squat, but I am pretty confident its near flawless. Its the only movement I have actual bragging right worthy strength in so I hope Im doing it right at least. Always 100% full squats too. Ass to grass
