If one reached the level of leanness he had been seeking and then sought to do a rebound bulk diet could he simply use roughly the same diet plan but just taper up the carbs every 3-4 weeks?
ie.
meal one - low carb diet
50g Protein
fat
now becomes - bulking diet
50g protein
1 cup rice, pasta, oatmeal, etc...
I dont mean bump up the carbs so substantially that one just becomes a blimp overnight and wreaks havoc on their metabolism, but a slow ramp up adding carbs to every meal over a slow steady progression and reducing fats as necessary.
I guess what I am asking indirectly is, can one grow off of the same amount of protein used on a diet (say 1.5-2g per lb of body weight) and only increase the carb intake? Does the protein intake also need to be moved up substantially? I know this is case dependent but I mean on average, what is the general consensus in this area?
