Hit the spice rack in the grocery store. That will help and most spices are carb free.

I like tex mex.

I've used Whipping Cream for coffee and Real Butter to grease the pan. I would yes they are ok.

As for recipes, I would just google it man. I'm sure there are lots out there. I don't do anything special. I keep it plan and stick to a basic diet as I find that works best.

i get sick of lettuce real fast
and one thing that saves me esp near the end is....

get a box frozen spinach
put it in a glass container with a good bit of water
micro for 7 mins
then add either canned tuna or chopped up chicken
lots of spices
some hot sauce & mustard
bit more water if needed
microwave till hot

it's like a tuna/chicken spinach soup
very filling when you're starving !!!!!!

Keto Pizza

4-oz cream cheese
3 eggs
1/3 cup cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups mixed italian cheese (I also used the Mexican cheese blend and it is fine)

1 cup of mozzarella cheese

pizza toppings of your choice:
pepperoni ,ham, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, bacon, browned sausage or seasoned ground beef, additional Parmesan cheese for topping
Preheat oven to 375
Beat together cream cheese and eggs till smooth. Add cream, Parmesan cheese, and spices and mix again.
Spray oblong casserole dish with PAM. Sprinkle 2 cups Italian cheeses into dish and pour egg mixture over it. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Spread on pizza sauce, sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and pile with your favorite toppings. Then sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese. Return to oven and bake til bubbly and browning. Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting.
I think this is as close to the real thing as you can get !

This recipe can also be made into muffins -- divide batter into muffin pans and bake for about 10-15 min

Since developing this recipe, have made many different flavor varieties. A sweet chocolate bread can be made by adding some Capella Flavor Drops.
Some other awesome additions are pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and protein powder flavor of choice. Awesome topped with almond or peanut butter

Pepperoni Pizza

1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup pizza sauce (Safeway’s Select brand has
Pepperoni slices
Red pepper strips
Sliced mushrooms
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Mix first four ingredients and pat thinly in a pizza tray, bringing the meat mixture as close to the edge as possible (the “crust” will shrink considerably during cooking). Cook at 325 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and drain all liquids from tray. Pat top of “crust” with paper towels, removing as much of the juices as possible.

Spread the pizza sauce over top of “crust”. Top with pepperoni slices, red pepper strips and shredded cheese (or any combination of your favourite pizza topping). Return to oven and continue cooking until cheese melts and bubbles.

Skillet Meatloaf

Serves 4

2 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 small onion grated
1 garlic clove minced
1 egg
1 Tbsp. catsup
Salt and pepper

Sauce:
1 can of tomato puree
Several fresh basil leaves chopped
1 small can of mushroom pieces drained
1 large onion sliced
Worcestershire sauce

Make meatloaf mixture by combining meat, onion, egg and seasoning. Form into a round loaf. Heat some olive oil in a heavy-duty skillet. Pat meat into pan and brown on both sides; carefully turning with wide spatula. Mix tomato paste, an empty paste can of water, sugar and basil and pour over meatloaf. Add sliced onion and mushrooms to pan. Sprinkle with a few splashes of Worcestershire sauce. Cook covered over low heat for 1+ hour or until meatloaf is tender. Occasionally stir sauce in pan and baste top of meatloaf. Serve meatloaf with some of the thickened sauce.

Chicken and Tarragon Salad with Almonds

Ingre.
2 10oz cans of white chicken (drain)
1/4 cup of peeled, seeded and diced cuber.
1/4 cup of peeled and diced celery.
1/4 cup of sliced almonds (toasted)
1 oz of Lemon Juice.
3 tablespoons of chopped Tarragon.
Salt and Pepper to taste.
1/2 cup of Light Mayo.

Mix everything together and chow down! High Protein, low carbs, low fat and real tasty. You will have to toast the almonds in the oven for about 5 min at 350. Or you can use the George Forman Grill if you have one. Let me know how you like it. Also if you are on the Atkins or a Keto Diet substitute the light mayo for good ol' regular mayo.

Enjoy.....
All this has about 8g of carbs.

Protein Pancakes

1/4 C. Egg Whites
1 Scoop Protein Powder

1. Mix it up good.
2. Make like pancakes.

I like to use PB or almond butter on them. They are pretty good plain too. If you use unflavored protein powder you can use these like tortillas too.

0 carbs!
