Just as he was about to begin his Olympia prep, Fouad Abiad discovered a half inch tear in his triceps tendon. In this weeks video blog, Fouad takes you to the office of his sports doctor, Dr.Clarfield, to receive a PRP(Platelet-rich plasma) treatment to help heal the tear. At the same time Fouad has the treatment done on both knees to help heal inflamed patella tendons.

I guess I will warn you that there are some images that result in pain during the video.

Looks like fun. Hope it works out for him. I wonder how many treatments he will need , just the one ?

Apparently just the one and it will take 6-8 weeks to recover. Hes being a trooper saying he will still compete in the O but im thinking he may have to wait until the Arnold. I havent seen him at the gym lately at all.
