Standing barbell press (strict press) is something that I do all the time but form isn't great. Assuming a lot of other people aren't great at this exercise also.

I've always wondered where the term "Military Press" came from. Apparently it's an overhead press done with the feet together. Like a soldier standing at attention. Learn something new every day.

This is my main shoulder exercise. I don't mess around with too much else for my front and side delts, but I do extra work for the rear delts. My delts seem to be an area that grow easily for me.

One of my favorite excercises.....I can go pretty heavy....but I don't stand with feet together.

I've down the push press regularly in the past but I never tried that full lockout with the chin down before. I might try this next shoulder day.

Great exercise. I can't go very heavy with strick form. As I get heavier I tend to do more of a push press.

Same here, if I do them. I find it hard on my banged up shoulder

have come to love these, i do not do the with my feet together though. I do 3 reps in front and behind my head JUST THE BAR! as a warm up then i can get myself up to 145 lbs. Thats about 5 pounds more then what i weigh with a few liters of water into me. I used this technique to work my weight up to my body weight so i can do hand stand push ups. I do keep my feet together when i do hand stand push ups leaning against a wall so i guess i sort of do the military press. I have spent more time work on my strength to weight ratio... and its a tough one >_<
