Dip belt opinions

So i am cruising ebay at the moment looking at dip belts, but i am not sure whats what. Should a spend a bit more and get a leather one? or should i just get a nylon belt? Is there any brands that are any more note worthy? or to stay away from? Is there any local suppliers that sell it?

haha i learned that i may need a heavy duty one >_< i started at 35 lbs so 70 pounds is in my near future. Is there anywhere is nit eh waterdown/burlighton area that sells this stuff? i like to touch and feel before i buy if possible.

Dude...seriously...it's just a dip belt. Go pic up some old seat belts from an auto wrecker and get a rivet gun. I'm sure you could make your own....

haha yeah that would be quite craft, i would be more tempted to try vinyl and foam from work and use our industrial sewing machine, but the cheaper ones are like $25 so time vs purchase?

that fitness depot looks interesting and the closest one is in oakville, will probably check it out.

I think the one I have is a Grizzly belt. It can switch to a lifting belt but I don't use it for that. I've dipped with 3 x 45's so it's good for that.

thats pretty righteous =D for my second time using it, i got 60 lbs (25 + 35) for 10 reps, and worked down. I am nerveous about making one because i will be working my arse off to add weight, my current goal is 2 x 45. I just cannot get over how amazing i feel after, my lower peck, shoulder, triceps, and fore arms felt like they could pop =D this workout is a keeper and HIGHLY recommended.

i also did some chin ups, 2 reps 20 lbs wide arm, and 6 reps 20 lbs.
