This is happening with the biggest companies in the world worth billions. It is much worst than this with smaller companies or companies on the net. You just don't see news on it as not many would be interested if unknown company A pulls that stuff on unknown company B. Not newsworthy unless it's big companies with big numbers of dollars to insert in the article.
Always question what you read. The world is full of shady people.
