View Full Version : Canadian Bodybuilding Radio is Back!!!!!

Well, after a 14 month layoff, CBBR has returned. We have a totally revamped website and episodes will be downloadable as podcasts to your ipod or computer!

The site will be up on Monday and the first episode with guest Chris Aceto has been recorded. He tells a great (and personal) story toward the end, so be sure to tune in!
Future guests include Santana Anderson, Mark Richman, Greg Kovacs, and many more!!!

CBBR 2.0 in full effect! lol
Oh, and a big thanks to MP for giving us a home here!

Thanks MP. Ya, Chris is always a great interview, and he has archives of amazing stories that have never been told anywhere before. Hope to have it up, even before Monday.

It's up and running, and the MP3 download feature works great.

We are rusty balls in this episode, but luckily, Chris Aceto tells some great stories and keeps it flowing. Felt good to get it done and up on the net.

what is the url so I can subscribe to the podcast

when i try to download it just brings up a quicktime streaming page

I don't have much experience with podcasts but I took a quick look and saw that the download link is in an mp3 format. I believe you can just right click it then select "save link as" (firefox) or "save target as" (internet explorer) and save it to your computer as an mp3 then do whatever you want with it.

Ya, this feature WAS working? I was away for a few days, and I see now what you mean. I'll get our guy on it ASAP. He has to upload the new episode with Santana Anderson today anyways. It will be fixed right away.

It's all fixed now. Right click to download.............Now functional.

I realized now that when you download the file, the album name is my girlfriend's name (Carrie Trudel), because of the Garageband preferences on my Mac. They are fixed now, so future downloads will be labelled properly when they go into your iTunes.

Great shows, really enjoy when you go into detail with specific guests about their diet/nutrition philosophies. Particularly the Gurus youve interviewed.

Our next episode is with Renaldo Gairy, right after he gets back from the North Americans in Cleveland. Remember, he was 4th last year at that show, so with the winner gone (Shaun Rhoden) he could be in serious contention for that class. Juan Morel may also be a superheavy, which would leave 2 guys from last year's top 4....plus whoever the new rookies are.

SO, we are hoping Renaldo comes on the show as a new PRO.

Also, I'm pulling extra hard for him, because we are both MUTANT athletes, and if he turns PRO I won't have to worry about him next year!
