Do you subscribe to this common theory regarding time in between cycles?
Also, do you count PCT time as 'off time', in other words immediately after the last injection off time begins.

I thought the rule of thumb for health and longevity purposes was minimum 2x time off, compared to time on.

ie. 4 months on = 8 months off

I wouldnt count pct as being off, no. That is if your taking HCG and Clomid anyways.

There is no rule of thumb for cycling IMO. It all depends on ones goals. But I think the ideal way, and probably the healthiest would be to go by blood work. Get your levels checked and see how your test levels are, lipids, liver enzymes and all that. If they are all in good order then I see no reason not to go back on if you wanted it. But if those levels are off, then you better take care of those first before going back on and you might want to really think about what AAS you use in the future.

There is no STANDARD rule...the rule is when your blood work comes back as normal...you are good...until then you are not. PCT is not off...its PCT...off is au natural...meaning not using anything.

What about in terms of natural test production? For example, I finished my cycle at the end of January, early February. Was on PCT until about mid March. Got full blood work done exactly at the end of PCT and all was good except for free test and biologically available test which was low normal. I was considering staying off a little while longer to ensure endo test production gets back to some semblance of normal and to hopefully ensure continued future recovery. Is this reasonable or does it matter at all?

Thats what i said...blood work comes back as normal...especially endo test levels. It should be what you normal baseline is...if it was midrange before the cycle it should be midrange post PCT as well.

Oh, I see. I thought you meant lipids, etc. Thanks for your response.
